2014 sees the 20th Anniversary of one of Reebok’s most iconic and recognizable shoes – the legendary Instapump Fury. A true cult classic with a futuristic twist and bespoke technology, Reebok celebrates this moment with the re-release of the original black, hypergreen, red colorway, the Instapump Fury OG.
Launched in 1994 by
Reebok’s Advanced Concepts group, the Instapump Fury incorporated two proven
technologies – Graphlite and Hexalite – with a new Instapump technology. The
flip of a switch used the force of pure CO2 to instantly inflate a series of
chambers wrapping the foot and eliminating the need for laces.
For 2014 Reebok recreated
the original mold to design the Instapump Fury OG, a true celebration of the
iconic shoe.
As part of the celebrations,
27 unique collaborations of the Instapump Fury have been created through the
Reebok Certified Network* which will roll out weekly over Spring/Summer (*The
Reebok Certified Network is a global network of retailers, exclusively chosen
by Reebok Classics to creatively collaborate on key initiatives)
The Instapump Fury OG will
be available at Reebok Certified Network and Reebok Reserve retailers globally on Friday 31st January 00.01 online and 11.00
